shown above.You must report in person at any one of the reporting centers ofa designated NIT/IIIT/GFTI only
(https://josaa.nic.in) along with the following documents for accepting the seat. The date/time window for seat acceptance is
also shown above. In case you do not report in person during the specified time window, seat allocated to you will automatically
be forfeited; in ad ion, you will not be considered for further rounds of seat allocation.

Undertaking by the Candidate (download from josaa website https://josaa.nic.in).
Category certificate (GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL / SC / ST) [if applicable].
PwD certificate (only for PwD candidates).
10. Passport (for foreign nationals) or OCI/PIO card [if applicable].

Important Instructions:.
1. Forged Documents: At the reporting center, if the documents you submit are found to be forged / fake, then the seat allotted
will be withdrawn and you will be debarred from further rounds of seat allocation.
2. Category Certificates: If you are not able to produce a certificate in support of your category (GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST or
PwD), then your category will be changed and your seat may get cancelled as mentioned in the Business Rules
(https://josaa.nic.in). In subsequent rounds, you will be considered for seat allocation based on the changed category.
Seat Upgradation: If you accept the allocated seat with floating/sliding option, and if you are allotted a different seat ina
a

subsequent round, then your current offered/accepted seat will automatically be forfeited.
4. Dual Reporting: If the seat offered in the subsequent round is in an IIT, then you MUST REPORT IN PERSON ONCE AGAIN at
any one of the reporting centers of 18 designated IITs only (https://josaa.nic.in), if you don't report again, then you will lose
the freshly allocated seat also. In other words, you will not have any seat and you will not be considered for seat allocation in
any subsequent round(s) of Joint Seat Allocation 2019.
Seat acceptance fee: Rs. 35,000 for GEN, GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL, Rs. 15,000 for SC, ST and PwD Candidates.
