CONTACT PROFESSIONAL GOAL

480-469-1533 My professional goal is to become a Librarian in a public library. I

have worked over 30 years providing excellent customer service to
rexandrelax@gmail.com the public. Within those years I have worked over 13 years in a
public library setting. I am skilled in planning programs, outreach,
searching databases, digital downloads, and providing reader’s
advisory. I am tech savvy and can troubleshoot printers, fax
machines, scanners, and internet issues. I go above and beyond for
all of my patrons. I have worked hard over many years to become a
Librarian.  I went back to school and completed an Associates in
Library Information Technology.  I went on to ASU and completed
my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies majoring in English
Literature and minoring in Public Management and Administration.
I continued my education by attending U of A and completing my
Master's in Library Information Science.  Librarianship is the career
path I have chosen because I love giving back to the community, I
enjoy lifelong learning, and teaching new skills to the public.
Working with the public and helping people in my community brings
me great joy in my life.  Someone once said, it is not a job if you
are doing something that you love.  This is librarianship to me.
