Performance Task 2

There is no question that cellphones have changed our lives in a very big way.
We have become so reliant on our technology that the cellphone has nearly
become an extension of our body. For some of us, technology has improved our lives,
but for others, it has altered how we interact with the world. In today's world, everyone
possesses a cellphone, and these gadgets have had a tremendous impact on our lives
and the way we conduct ourselves on a daily basis. The cellphone has become an
indispensable part of our popular culture. In reaction to what is used on a daily basis,
new customs, rituals, and routines are evolving. Most of us use our smartphones every
day to surf the internet and social media platforms, check emails, manage calendars,
listen to music, play games, watch movies, snap photographs, read the news, compose
text messages, and occasionally to make phone calls.
People used to sing songs about planting and harvesting in pre-industrial times.
Cars and motorcycles have been reoccurring themes in rock music since the 1950s.
You also couldn't call the office when you were in the grocery store for some
necessities. You couldn't have a three-way business meeting while making meals, or
deal with a business customer from home while caring for a sick child. Cell phones have
made it possible for us to multitask. In today's post-industrialist world of IT, it's only
natural that we listen to songs about mobile phones. Cell phones have also changed
how individuals interact with one another. When we say someone, we're talking about a
person, not a place. We may be more impetuous when making plans because there is
rarely a busy signal and, unlike a land line phone, someone is always available. Cell
phones also enable us to call ahead of time if we anticipate being late for an
appointment; yet, this has resulted in cell phone users being late more frequently than
non-cell phone users. These users frequently think that appointment times are flexible
and rearrange their arrival time using their cell phones. Cell phones have definitely
made our lives much more convenient.
People appear to be born with smartphones in their hands. Despite the fact that
mobile phones did not exist from the beginning of human history, smartphones are a
great tool for supporting us in our everyday tasks. Many of these benefits go
unrecognized. Cellphones have had an influence on practically every aspect of human
life. Business, education, health, and social life are some of the most visible sectors
where the influence of smartphones may be seen. Mobile technology has significantly
altered societal norms and individual behavior. However, you should, remember to put
down the phone and pay attention to what's going on around you from time to time.
