Power Corrupts, Absolute Power Corrupts

This phrase is quoted by Lord Acton who


was a British politician in the 19th century.
The Essence of Power and
Corruption

Power does not necessarily corrupt. But


it always does is attract Sociopaths.

Power may not corrupt, but it


certainly reveals one.
Conclusion

Corrupt people are drawn to power. Some people are


corruptible to some extent or another

Whether it’s something as mundane as making sure a relative


gets a traffic ticket dismissed to embezzling millions of dollars to
having someone who threatens your power murdered.

Both are different ends on the spectrum of corruption.
