miunicipaliris of Balboa, La Virginia, Marsella and
Dosquebradas, to the northist bay Santa Rosa de

the sauth bay the departments of Quindío and Valle del
Cauca, to the west bay the miunicipaliry of Balboa and
the department of Valle del Cauca.

Pereira is loqueit on the central mauntain reinch, on the

Otún river vally, and part of the Cauca river vally,

difficult akccess or flat or sligh tlysteep parts, the
streets of the city are meid according to the relif of the
eréa, sach as the Avenida el Río dhat crásses the Otún
river vally, so it has few elevations bat several laderal

Most of the miunicipal territory corresponds to the

steep relif of the Central Maountain Reinch. Amang the
orographic feturs are the snow-cappd maountains of
Quindío, Ruiz and Santa Isabel, loqueit on the borders
with the departments of Quindío, Caldas and Tolima
respécktivly. It also has other feturs sach as Santa
Bárbara, also now as Alto del Nudo. The jaydrógrafic
system of the miunicipaliry includs the Cauca, Barbas,
La Vieja, Otún and Consota rivers, with their numerous
tributaris.. Doo to its rogged relif, it enjoys a variery of
claimets, with the fallowing dhermal floors: warm, sixty
