Years before, the rules and obligations that we had inside and outside our
homes were very different from the ones we have now. For example, years
before, we were allowed to visit our friends and family and have great parties
without any fear. Also, we could go to movie theaters to watch our favorite
movies and we could buy popcorn and soda if we wanted. And most
importantly, we didn't have to wear these ugly masks every time we went out
with our friends, went to college, or to work. Clearly, our authorities didn’t make
us use these annoying things. However, now, things have changed. Now, we
aren’t allowed to do any kind of party or meeting with friends or family. Every
time we want to enter a commercial store, the security guards won’t let us get
into the place if we don’t wash and disinfect our hands before entering. We
must wear these masks practically all the time we are out or people will look at
us weird. And if that weren't enough, the authorities make us use, additionally, a
face protector that lets us see almost nothing, if we want to use public transport.
Of course, we can’t use public transport if we don’t use it, only taxis or private
transport. One good thing is that we don’t have to worry about arriving home
late at night due to our university or work, as all universities and most types of
work have adapted to remote work.
