Good morning teacher and classmates, today I’m going to present my Intermediate 7 project

about the new standards and I’m going to say whether I agree or disagree and explain why in

In the past the rules were very strict or even very unfair when it came to women. In the past,

women always worked hard or even twice as hard as men and still the pay was less for them.
Now in 2021, a new century, the century of freedom of expression, today this is not allowed.
Equality is for everyone, it is a right for all of us. In the past, these differences were allowed
because it was believed that man should always come first in everything. Besides, that
mentality was like that for centuries and centuries. But happily that is no longer allowed.

Speaking of the past, in the bars in the 60's and 70's women were not allowed to enter. In
order to enter the bar it was obligatory to enter accompanied by a man. The new rule was
implemented in the late 70s, Women can enter the bar even if they are alone. This rule in the
past was so because it was believed that it was to protect women from drunken men who
might hurt them. Or because there was always violence in the bars and a woman couldn’t be
there. Nowadays, violence is prohibited in bars or they will have to leave.

Now, speaking of Violence, carrying firearms is totally prohibited and it is illegal for a person to
possess it. The new rule is that to carry firearms you have to have your license. This license is
obligatory for everyone. You have to be a very responsible person with this dangerous object
because it can cost you or someone else's life.
Before it was totally legal to carry firearms, but times change and now it is only allowed for
police officers. I believe that if a woman always feels defenseless in a place, it is really
necessary to carry a gun and with her license. In my case, I don't think I have the obligation to
have a firearm because my whole family is police. Anyway, I always obey the law and never
break a rule.
These were the new rules for the community and I completely agree with them. The rules exist
to avoid chaos, to bring order and for everyone to have a peaceful life without injustice.
