GROUP PRESENTATION/INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT

 Assignment Description:

As the CFO of a company you are required to study the performance and growth of the company and
provide a report with recommendations. Select any LOCAL company of your choice. Kindly do the
analysis and interpretation of the following content and submit the assignment on 1st November, 2021 at
10:00

 Content of the assignment report:

1. Introduction of the Company (Brief profile: Business of the Company, financial objectives, size,
growth rate , contribution towards GDP of economy with graphs, and sales projections)
2. Analysis of the Company Financial statements
Study the financial statements for last two years and analyze the financial position of the business and
study the following points:
 How much debt the company has relative to equity
 How liquid the business is in the short term (less than one year)
 What percentage of assets are tangible and what percentage comes from financial transactions?
 How long it takes to receive outstanding payments from customers and repay suppliers
 How long it takes to sell inventory the business keeps on hand
3. Analyze the Cash Flow Statement
Study the cash flow statement of last two years and comment on the following points:
 The liquidity situation of the company
 The company’s sources of cash
 The free cash flow the company generates to further invest in assets or operations
 Whether overall cash has increased or decreased
4. Financial Ratio Analysis
Calculate and interpret the following ratios at least two from each category for last two years
 Liquidity ratios

  Long-term solvency or financial leverage ratios
 Profitability ratios
 Turn over or assets management ratios
 Market value ratios
5. Recommendation
6. Conclusion

Instructions to be followed in making the assignment report:
1) Write your report with proper structured cover page, table of content, table of figures.
2) Report should be at least 10-12 pages with 12 font size, spacing 1.15, Times New Roman.
3) No plagiarism elements are allowed
4) Report needs to be submitted on 1st November, 2021
5) This assignment requires the use of multiple sources such as: journal articles, industry
reports, Companies annual report, newspaper articles, etc.
6) The report should be concise and succinct.
7) Use the following style: Harvard style

1. Kindly do the submission within the stipulated time period strictly otherwise late
submission will not be accepted.
2. For group presentation, write a report of a company different from the one used for
your individual assignment. The layout Must be as per the guidelines above. The
