Experiment Title: To understand the procedure of MATLAB analysis

of a ThingSpeak Channel.

1. Aim/Overview of the practical: Measurement of temperature using Thermistor temperature sensor and
perform its data logging using NI USB 6008 and LabVIEW.

2. Task to be done:
a) Create Thingspeak Channel Sign in to your ThingSpeak account.
b. Click on ‘Channels>My Channels’ option of menu bar.
c. Select the channel for which you want to do analysis.
d. Click on the tab ‘Apps’ of the menubar and choose the option ‘MATLAB Analysis’

Steps for experiment/practical:

1. Create Thingspeak Channel Sign in to your ThingSpeak account.


2. Click on ‘Channels>My Channels’ option of menu bar.
3. Select the channel for which you want to do analysis.
4. Click on the tab ‘Apps’ of the menubar and choose the option ‘MATLAB Analysis’
5. Open the LabVIEW software and create a new VI. Bring the DAQ Asst function into the block diagram by right clicking over it
go to Expres Inputs DAQ Asst.
6. Select the proper channel of the DAQ as Acquire Signal.
7. A configuration window will be opened and change some parameters in the configuration window. Acquisition Mode
(Sample on Demand), then click on OK.
8.Now the LabVIEW will configure the DAQ and Build all the parameters you have changed.
