Transplanting in Land

1. Grow seedlings first

2. Solanaceous 3-4 weeks (in case no records on the day started to do seedling,
it’s enough if it has 2-3 leaves)
3. Cucurbit 10-12 days
4. Late in the afternoon
5. Water seedlings (regular)
6. Push out seedlings lightly
7. Drench fungicide (if fungus is high)
8. Fill up holes
9. Trellis can be set up (to support the plants from wind and typhoon, and
support the plant from touching the ground)

Trellising
 Bamboo with “A” type can be used

Instructions:
a. Soak in a cup of water all the seeds for plantation (within 2-4 hours for
Tomato, Talong, Atsal, but 24 Hours for Ampalaya)
b. After soaking, do incubation. Prepare Cotton cloths, then place the soaked
seeds. Fold the cloths with seeds, and place it under cabinet / cold place
c. Check the seeds after 24 Hours. There must be a small root out of the seeds.
d. Mix the soil media (Vermicompost, Carbonized Rice Hull, Garden soil)
e. Now place the seeds after placing the soil in tray
f. Other techniques in seedling:
1. Pricking – let the seeds grow in tray, then if there are 2-3 leaves growing,
transfer it to seedling tray
g. Spray water on the seeds using sprinkler
h. After 10 - 15 days, ready to plant seedlings are done. Transplant can be
done. However, for Solanaceous (like Atsal & Talong), 25 – 28 days before
transplant.
Third Step: Transplant Seedlings

1. Prepare Materials:
a. Plant Pot
b. Garden Soil (Mixed soil)
c. Seedling
d. Water

Instruction:

1. Prepare Plant Pot

2. Place the soil in the pot but not full.
3. Put hole exactly for the seed.
4. Level of seedling should be the same with the level of plant pot.
5. Put a litter pressure to avoid being shaky
6. Sprinkle Water
7. Wait for the vegetable to grow.
