USG Boral Building Products was founded in 2014 as a joint venture between USG Corporation and Boral Limited. A 
leading manufacturer and supplier of plasterboards, USG Boral produces plasterboard, ceiling tile and suspension 
systems, metal framing, jointing compounds, and industrial plasters across Asia, Australia and the Middle East. 
 
Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, USG Boral has approximately 3,500 employees, 24 manufacturing plants 
and 3 gypsum mines across Australia, China, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Philippines, 
Oman  and  Saudi  Arabia.  The  company  main  brand  names  include  USG  Boral,  Sheetrock®,  Elephant,  Jayaboard®, 
Durock® and Donn DX® – the world’s most widely specified and installed ceiling suspension system.

USG BORAL IN PHILIPPINES  
 
Boral Limited began operations in the Philippines in 1998. Following the joint venture between USG Corporation and 
Boral Limited in 2014, the business and operations have been rebranded as USG Boral. Besides providing technical 
assistance,  product  use,  installation  training,  on‐site  training  and  quality  control  supervision  to  business  in  the 
Philippines, USG Boral also has a warehouse located in Metro Manila and 2 sales offices in Manila and Cebu. 
 
PRODUCTS & SERVICES 
 

USG Boral has a rich legacy of innovation that includes the invention of the first plasterboard and first mineral fibre 
acoustical ceiling tile.  That legacy continues today with the recent introduction of the next generation of Sheetrock® 
plasterboard.  Committed to developing solutions for walls and ceilings that meet needs across Asia Pacific, USG 
Boral’s products are designed with ease of use and durability in mind to ensure high performance. A state‐of‐the‐art 
Corporate Innovation Centre (CIC) and Research and Development Centre (RDC) ensure that products and systems 
go through quality testing and materials analysis before it goes out to the market. Key products as follows: 
 
 Interior Wall and Ceiling Linings: High performance and lightweight plasterboards 
 Ceilings: Ceiling suspension systems, acoustical panel and specialty ceilings  
 Interior Finishes: Jointing compounds, joint tapes and sealants 
 Metal Framing: Stability and framing for installation of plasterboards across various system configurations 
 Substrates:    High  performance  panels  for  use  in  demanding  environments  such  as  abuse,  exterior,  and 
moisture.
