GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION OF PROJECT PRESENTATION

 Project Objective: Students to study/ analyse a Supply Chain (Product specific or a


Company) and prepare a presentation while demonstrating their views based on the
knowledge acquired throughout the Supply Chain program.
 Project work and delivery: Group Activities- Students to work within their assigned
group (max 4)
 Presentation should be in the form of PowerPoint presentations, which must be
submitted in Omnivox within the given timeline.
 TIMING IS CRITICAL - The time allotted for each Presentation will be 15 min +
5 min for discussion (20 min total)
o Students should practice their presentation beforehand so that the timing is correct.
If you are not able to present all of your material you will likely lose marks because
an important part of your presentation might be missing.
 Slides should not contain an excessive amount of text, and text should be concise
and in point form
 Make sure to cite the source of figures or illustrations you use on the bottom of the
slide.
 PRESENTATION STYLE- Students need to be familiar with their topic so that they do
not have to read from their slides.
 The organization of the presentation might vary, depending on your topic, but you
should include at least the sections listed below, with the approximate times for
each.
 Team Introduction (~1 min)
 Supply Chain Introduction(~1 min)
o Background: Company, Business Model, Products or Services, Customers,
Market position, competition
 Supply Chain Analysis(~11 min)
o Supply Chain competitive strategy (Efficient vs. Responsive)
o Supply Chain Process view (Cycle, Push-Pull, Swim lane, Value Stream
Mapping etc.)
o Supply Chain Performance and Drivers (logistical and cross functional)
o Others Sections (e.g., SWOT Analysis, Supply and Demand Coordination ,
Inventory Planning and Management Methods, Transportation Network, IT
Infrastructure, Macro Processes etc)
 Conclusion (~2 min)
