 Greetings and Introduction

Well hello people, welcome to my office 69 Engineer Company. My names Rafly, here I
work as a general contractor. Let me tell you about my life as a general contractor.
 Roles and Responsibilities
As a general contractor my responsibilities are setting deadlines and budgets ,
coordinating with subcontractors including electricians, plumbers and interior designer,
managing employees, and obtaining building materials.

 What kind of house do you want?
I want a modern house that have some futuristic fitures, I want there is a place to
chill behind the house

How about next month? Can you?

Because I need to move to that house next year

 Describe Challenges and Problems at Job
In nowadays the main challenge in build the building is the weather, we don’t
have exactly weather. Even though it’s summer but sometimes it’s raining. The weather
is very influential during the construction.
Sometimes communication also a problem that I have to face. Bad
communication between people in the project can affect to the buildings. Sometimes
miscalculation of time can be happen too. Even though estimation is never certain,
contractor must provide a calculated estimate. In other words, development must be
completed on schedule.
There are still many problems that I have to face on the project.
 Recount Challenges and Problems
In my previous project, I have some problem. Some worker in my previous
project didn’t follow the safety standart. My worker got an accident in the project site,
and he passed away. Because of that accident I need to delayed the project.
The other problem is as you know in last three months rain frequently happened.
When I was doing my project, suddenly rain happened so I need to delayed my project
until the rain stopped.
 There was a worker that burnt his hand while welding, so we brought him to the
hospital to got medical treatment.
There are still a lot of problems that happened in my previous project that make
my time estimate for the project miss.
 Discussing Future Plans/Projects and Development
After this project finish, I’m going to start new project in the middle of may. I’m
going to make a bridge. The work on the foundations are going to start at June. And the
other parts are going to start as soon as the foundations finish.
So far the biggest project I have faced is made a skyscrapers, because it need a lot
of detai0l attention. I more like to make a bridge than make a skycrapers. Bridge project
is easier than other project for me.
