Step One: Run placement stitch on stabilizer

Step Two: Place material over outline, making sure the stitch is completely covered
 Step Two: Run placement for applique

Step Three: place material over and run tack down

Step Four: Trim as close to stitch as possible

Step Five: Run design steps, if any

Step Six: Run satin stitch to cover raw edges of applique
