th Pilgrims arrive in Makkah by the 7 day of Dhu al-Hijja. They purify themselves and the men put on the Ihram (Obligatory Act) 8th day of Dhu al-Hajja: Arafat Tawaf e Qadoom is performed The Pilgrims proceed to the plain of Mina, where they spend the night in prayer. Muzdalifa Pilgrims must reach to Mina before noon and they should recite Talbiyah, Durud and Kalma Tauhid. The pilgrims offer Zuhr Asr, Maghrib and Isha prayers at Mina. Mina Then he leaves for Arafat after offering fajr Prayer. 9th of Zilhaj: It is desrible to offer Fajr Prayers at Arafat. Pilgrims leave Mina for Arafat which is 9 miles from Makkah. Kaabah Waquf e Arafat is performed at Jabal e Rehmat. (Obligatory Act) Zuhar & Asr prayers are performed in congregation at Masjid e Nimra or they can be offer their prayer at any other place. Mina 10th Zilhaj: At sundown, the pilgrims leave Arafat for Muzdalifa which is 9 miles from Makkah between Mina and Arafat, where they will spend the night in worship and gather atleast 49 pebbles for the next day. Kaabah On the 10th of Zilhaj at dawn and after performing Fajr prayer in Muzdalifa, they proceed to Mina, carrying at least 49 pebbles for Rami by throwing the pebbles at the Jamarat. On the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijja, the Eid al-Adh’ha is performed at Mina. Jamarat e Uqba is stoned (7 Pebbles will be used) Sacrifice is offered. Halq/ Qasr is performed. Pilgrims perform Tawaf e Ifada or Tawaf e Ziara which is an obligatory act. After Tawaf they offered two Rakkats at Maqam e Ibrahim . Sayi is performed between the Hills of Safa and Marwa by running between the hills seven times. Women may walk at their normal pace. Ayyam ul Nahar: The Pilgrims are not required to offer Eid prayer. The 10th, 11th and 12th of zilhajj during which the sacrifice of animals is offered are known as Ayyam al-Nahr or the days of Sacrifices. Ayyam e Tashriq: The pilgrims then come back to Mina and Rami is carried out on the 11 th and the 12th days as well. They stay at Mina for two or three days. It is performed on all three pillars that symbolize Satan. Rami is performed after mid day by throwing seven pebbles at each Jamarat. Pilgrims start Rammi with Jamarat e Uqba (7 pebbles) Jamarat e Wusta (middle pillar) 7 pebbles Then Jamarat e Sughra or Jamarat e Ula (smallest pillar) 7 pebbles.
Note: (21 pebbles on 11th Zilhaj & 21 on 12Th Zilhaj all together 42 pebbles) 12th Zilhaj: Pilgrims return to the Kaabah for the final Tawaf or Tawaf e Wida.
