Rites of Hajj (Manasik)

8th of Zilhajj (First day of Hajj)

The pilgrims wear the IHRAM again with the intention of Hajj. They offer
the fajr prayer and proceed to Mina. The observe all the remaining prayers
at Mina. The next morning they offer prayer and leave for Makah.

9th Zilhajj the second Day of Hajj.

1. Wuqoof Arafat.
When the sunrises pilgrims proceed to plains of Arafat. Pilgrims offer zuhr
and Asr prayer combined at the time of Zuhr/. They remain in the plain of
the Arafat till sunsets and supplicate as much as they can. Wuqoof e Arafat
is considered as the greatest part of the pilgrimage. Muslims gather from
the every corner of the world, to pay gratitude and seek forgiveness from
Allah.
2. From Arafat to Muzzdalifah.
After sunsets, without offering Maghreb prayer Pilgrims proceed from
Arafat to Muzadlifa, which is also known as Mash’ar-ul-Haram. On arrival
at Muzadlifah, the pilgrims offer the Maghreb and Isha prayer with one
Azan and IQAMAH. They also collect 50 to 70 pebbles for Rami.
