Update Oscam To The Last Version

This tutorial explain how to update your oscam to the last avaible version.

1-First of all, install an oscam via ipk softcam plugin. You have an oscam installed.

But to update it, you do not need to install ipk file again, simply replace the oscam bin file.

2-Download an oscam bin file according to your chip model of receiver.

For example, for an mipsel box like Dm800, 8000, 500 HD or Vu+ receiver you need an oscam mipsel2.0
or Pli4.0 bin. For an receiver 4k like dm900, vu solo4k ect with arm chip you need an oscam bin armv7.

3- With an FTP tool like DCC or Filezilla connect to the receiver and navigate to /usr/bin folder.

Here you will find the old oscam binary.. You can delete or rename it to oscam1 just in case you want to
use it again.
Send the new version to the /usr/bin folder.

4- Change Attributes / File permissions on the new oscam binary to 755. This can be done by right
clicking on oscam.
Restart enigma2 and that`s it..

With the blu button you can see the old oscam number but that is because that number version is
written at start script.

For newbe is better not to change much things.

So you have now an updated oscam.
