About the programme
The majority of medical doctors
receive up to two weeks of
dermatology teaching as students
resulting in increased difficulties when
it comes to diagnosing and managing
patients with skin disease in their own
practices. This online programme has
a special emphasis on diagnosing and
managing skin disease in a community
and primary care setting. It will equip
qualified physicians with the skills to
provide effective care for individuals
with skin conditions such as chronic
mild/ moderate inflammatory
diseases, infections, sun damage and
certain skin cancers. You will also be
introduced to the theory and practice
of minor surgery.
This Royal College of Physicians
of Ireland Postgraduate Certificate
in Clinical Dermatology delivered
by iheed, is a new 8-month online
learning programme, designed
specifically to cater for busy
healthcare professionals. Drawing

The objective of this Postgraduate

› Know the key theory and principles of the
following procedures::

Applicants must:
› Hold a medical degree granted by a recognised institution
