TO : ALL BARANGAY OFFICIALS, EMPLOYEES AND RESIDENTS

SUBJECT : DESIGNATION OF SAFETY OFFICERS

DATE : October 4, 2021

In compliance to all the directives and guidelines issued by the National IATF and
other agencies involved in the implementation of all the programs for the management
of the COVID-19 cases nationwide and to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 virus, the
following Safety Officers shall be designated:

All the designated safety officers shall have the following functions:

1. Coordinate with the appropriate bodies for support and referral to community-
based isolation facilities for confirmed cases with mild symptoms, and to health
facilities for severe and critical care;
2. Undertake contact tracing or coordinate the conduct thereof;
3. Monitor status of employees and residents quarantined or isolated; and
4. Implement return to work policies.
