LTE3106 description

The description of LTE 3106 functionality

System Information Blocks Type 6, 7 and 8 (SIB6, SIB7, and SIB8), containing respectively
information about GSM, WCDMA and CDMA2000 frequencies and neighboring cells relevant for
cell re-selection, are broadcast in 1.4MHz and 3MHz cell.

The LTE3106: IRAT idle mode mobility for 1.4Mhz and 3Mhz bandwidth cell feature allows usage
of the following features in 1.4MHz and 3Mhz cell:

LTE807 Idle mode mobility LTE to CDMA/1xRTT (SIB8)

LTE870 Idle mode mobility from LTE to CDMA/eHRPD (SIB8)
LTE762 Idle mode mobility from LTE to WCDMA, GSM (SIB6,SIB7)

The feature does not have a separate feature activation parameter. Activation of the feature relies
on the rules defined in the above listed features.
