2. Appropriate attire with moral and ethical standards is required. 3. All contestants are required to submit their tale or story to be used in the competition to the contest committee of the competition on a short bond paper using Times Roman (14 font size). 4. Each contestant is given 3 to 5 minutes for the presentation of the story. 5. Time shall officially start when the contestant utters the first word of the presentation, a penalty of 1-point deduction every 30 seconds in excess.
Picking an engaging and easily understood story, with a beginning, middle,
and end. Having good poise and stage presence with facial expressions, and appropriate gestures and body language. Using good voice projection, enunciation, and expression, Appropriate length of story. (3-5 minutes) Judges will have the right to cut story off after 7 minutes as they see fit. Memorization skills with good pacing and flow of the story. Over-all uniqueness and appeal of the story. Story must be memorized and not read.
Criteria for judging:
25% - Pronunciation
20% - Voice variations and projection
20% - Content and logical presentation of events
25% - Skills and eliciting emotions and expressions of the character played
