SINGLE ATS SPESCIFICATIONS

Operating concept:
Automatic transfer switch (ATS) panel is used where a critical loads needs to be covered by two separate
& independent power feeds (Mains—generator). The panel finds uses in applications that require a
reliable & secure power source, such telecom sites.
ATS panel monitors the primary Mains (Utility) supply and will switch to control the generator if the
primary supply should fail, or fall outside preset limits. On return of the primary Mains (Utility) supply the
ATS panel will monitor it to en-sure it is stable and then transfers the load from the generator supply
back to the Mains (Utility) primary supply.

A phase failure relay is used for primary Mains (Utility) voltage monitoring and offers under and over
voltage protection as well as phase sequence. And another one for generator.

The panel uses two timers. Timer one is used for the primary Mains (Utility) restoration setting, and
controls the time period the primary Mains (Utility) supply has to be healthy before engaging the
primary Mains contactor. Timer two controls the generator supply loading period.

A three position selector switch is used for control

In the AUTO position all operations are automatic with the panel switching between the two supplies
when there is a failure of the primary Mains (Utility) supply.
In the OFF position, in which no source is being played
In the MANUAL position, the ATS panel is prepared to operate the generator manually; Switching back
to AUTO will switch the load back to the primary Mains (Utility) supply.
