Interactive Mini-Book
What you will need:
Paper, file folder, clear velcro dots, 2 book rings, laminating pouches

How to prepare the folder:

Print and laminate your chosen version of the book.
Cut apart the book pages and the mini-picture cards.
Punch two each in the left side of each book page. (Make sure to line-up
the holes.)
Punch two holes through the closed file folder about 1/2” from the folded
edge to line up with the holes on the book pages.
Open the folder and put the book rings through the holes in the file folder
with the joint side on the outside of the folder and the open side on the
inside of the folder.
Place the book pages on the book rings and close the book rings.

Using the clear velcro dots, place a clear dot on the book page inside the
rectangle. Place a matching dot on top and then press the coordinating
mini-picture card onto the velcro. This will ensure that the velcro dots are
lined up correctly.

Then, using another clear side of the velcro attach it to a mini-picture card
and then attach to the bottom of the file folder as shown below.

Attach the cover to the front of the file folder.

To use:
Read through the story with your child. At the end of each sentence
prompt your child to find the matching picture or missing word and attach
it to the reading page.
