QUICK TIPS TO FORMULATE YOUR STRATEGY

Have you assessed your home's vulnerabilities?

Have you mapped out what you want to do, and how you will
respond to potential adversaries attacking your home?

To shape the outcome of potential invasions on your home, have you

designed your outer perimeter layer - yard and property lines?
Structure hardening - to burglar-proof yourself have you hardened
doors, windows, walls and other entry points?

For inside the home, do you have a panic room or better yet a room
designed to make your final stand if intruders breach your defenses?

Weapons - have you created a weapons armory for things likes

firearms, knives, cross bows or your defense weapons of choice?
Training - are all family members properly trained in the proper use of
weapons? That is mentally, physically , and emotionally?

Drills and practice - have you, or are you constantly running practice
drills with your family on what to do when a home invasion happens?

OPSEC and COMSEC - are you protecting your family's sensitive

information, including what you do, status? - basically how you appear
to others. Disinformation and blending in with the crowd.

Other considerations - dogs, situation awareness, team work, vigilance

Neighbourhood Watch Programs - do you have some type of

community program to monitor the comings and goings of the area?
Your Home Defense Plan - regularly review your plans, toss them out
and beef them up wherever you can!
