Heroes in the medical battlefield

We are told we are the frontliners, but it's also true that in the medical battlefield--in hospitals,
clinics, triage tents, quarantine facilities--it's the doctors, nurses, disease specialists, administrative
and maintenance personnel who are the heroes.

They risk their lives to save those who have contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19,
and 12 health workers have already died with more than 200 infected.

This health and economic crisis is a grim reminder that countries should heretofore give priority to
its health care system.

Both national and local government should ensure there are enough funds for health care, with
sufficient equipment for all health care personnel.
