In 2003 it started to operate with the production of LPG
transportation and storage tanks in Nizip Industrial Site. In short
time period company has reached to leading position in the field of
production of pressure vessels and industrial filling facilities.
In addition to LPG Filling facilities and pressure vessels, Dogumak
manufacture various size of Ammonia transport and storage tanks,
ADR certificated semi-trailers and consumer-wise projects.
Improving product range with innovational solutions at the same
time continues research and development studying in the field of
LNG and LCO2.
Dogumak has registered its quality with ISO-9001:2015 and TUV
AUSTRIA at its new factory addressed 5th Organised ındustrial Zone
/GAZIANTEP which has 10.000 square meter area.

SUBMERGED ARC WELDING

Submerged arc welding is commonly used in industries where thick steel sheets are involved or
where long welds are required. The process consists in creating a welded joint between steel
components using an electric arc submerged beneath a layer of powdered flux. in creating a

 GAS METAL ARC WELDING
With MIG (Metal Inert Gas) or MAG (Metal Active Gas) welding - also called Gas-shielded
Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) - an arc is maintained between a continuous solid wire electrode and
the work piece. The arc and weld pool are shielded by a stream of inert or active gas. The process
is suitable for most materials and filler wires are available for a wide range of metals
 ELECTRICAL ARC WELDING
The arc welding is a fusion welding process in which the heat required to fuse the metal is obtained
from an electric arc between the base metal and an electrode.
The electric arc is produced when two conductors are touches together and then separated by a small
gap of 2 to 4 mm, such that the current continues to flow, through the air. The temperature produced
by the electric arc is about 4000°C to 6000°C.

 PAINTING PROCESS
GRID BLASTING
Shot blasting takes the centrifugal force of the high speed rotating disk to shot the steel
shots to the work piece surface. After processing, the work piece will have finishing effect
and generate pressure stress to improve fatigue strength. Compared with sand blasting,
shot blasting do not generate silicon dust and have less pollution to the environment.

As a preconstruction primer on blast cleaned steel surfaces in automatic shop priming plants to protect
steel during transport, storage and production
As an Epoxy primer for application in automatic shop priming plants as a primer in paint system for
corrosion classes, ISO 12944 C2 to C4
As a Holding primer for temporary protection of blast cleaned steel surfaces
Easy to apply in shop primer plant

 PRIMER COATING
A primer or undercoat is a preparatory coating put on materials before painting.
Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability,
and provides additional protection for the material being painted.
 PAINTING
 The paint system to be applied on the outer surface of the tank will be as follows:
1. Epoxy based primer as first coat (60-80 micron dry film thickness)
2. Epoxy intermediate coat as second layer (60-80 micron dry film thickness)
3. Acrylic polyurethane topcoat as third layer (40-50 micron dry film thickness)
1. The total paint thickness will be in the range of 160 - 210 microns
2. The final colour of the tank will be white (RAL 1013)

Bobtail road tankers are chassis mounted transportation tanks, mainly used for
distribution of LPG to domestic or industrial bulk customers or Autogas service
stations. Our manufacturing standards are ADR, TPED, EN 12252, and EN 12493.

ASME standards
