REFLECTION: The Basic Concept of Human Reproduction

In this module, i learned about the basic concept of human reproduction. Since I
was in elementary this topic is being discuss by our teacher in science. So in this module
the first thing I learned is about typical and atypical development of a children, the basic
human reproduction, some principles of genetic determination, the course of prenatal
development which is about the germinal, embryonic and fetal stage and The principles
of Normal development in Infancy and Early Childhood.

To summarize all the things that I learned from this topic. Human reproduction is
any form of sexual reproduction resulting in human fertilization. It typically involves
sexual intercourse between a man and a woman. During sexual intercourse, the
interaction between the male and female reproductive systems results in fertilization of
the woman's ovum by the man's sperm. It is a characteristic of all living things on Earth
that they reproduce or produce offspring, and humans are no different. The male's job is
to produce sperm cells and deliver them into the female reproductive tract. The
female's job is to produce ova (eggs), receive the sperm, and nourish the embryo that
grows inside her. She must also give birth and produce milk for the offspring during its
early years.

So in other words the human reproduction is important because it is essential for

the continuance of the human species. Humans reproduce sexually by the uniting of the
female and male sex cells. Although the reproductive systems of the male and female
are different, they are structured to function together to achieve internal fertilization.
