I understand how you feel, Danny. It really isn’t a lot of fun anymore to see so
many emojis everywhere. Sometimes, they might even become annoying.
Well, let me tell you how I feel about emojis. I don’t use them that often, but
when I do, it’s usually to stress a certain emotion. Most of the time it’s laughter
and appreciation to something or someone.
I really don’t like it when people use lots of emojis. Why would you type the same
emoji 20 times when you can type it only once? It has the same effect! It’s just so
annoying to see lots of emojis in one message. I really hate it.
Still, I have a favorite emoji. It’s the laughing one (😂)! It’s my favorite, probably
because I use it the most. But I never type 20 of them! As I said earlier, I use it
only to stress the fact that something is funny.
There are definitely certain situations in which it’s better not to use emojis at all.
When you’re writing an official letter to the director of the school, for example,
you might want to avoid using emojis. Using an emoji gives the letter an informal
look (at least in my opinion). So, make sure you don’t use emojis when writing
such letters.
Why don’t you ask for the opinion of other people? Or maybe get in touch with
your friends and see what they think? In my opinion, a lot of people will agree on
what I said. 👋
