Case Presentation on Oct. 26 onwards
FINAL INSTRUCTION
• A group (in trio) must present a case that has an application on any of the topics
discussed in Med. Ethics. Example is about abortion, give a sample situation or
case then you have to discuss what are the ethics topics applied such as the
fundamental principles- principle of respect for life. Expect for a follow up questions
asked by Dr. Lanuza after presenting your case.
• The group can prepare a powerpoint presentation or do it orally. Better if you’ll
have a ppt to show, it’s much appreciated.
• Time duration of the case pre: TBA
• Presentation of the cases will start on October 26, 2021. Dr. Lanuza will randomly
choose a group to report. A group can also volunteer to be the first one to report if
they wanted it to. The chosen group that will report on that day must log in the
zoom meeting. Doc mentioned that there will be breakout sessions daw but, will
verify pa this next meeting. Basta, the reporters must be in the zoom meeting and
prepare your presentation. For those groups who are not called to report yet, they
can opt not to log in the zoom meeting. Just wait for the signal or message in the
class gc that it’s your group turn to report.
• There are 68 section D students enrolled in Med Ethics. See the class list below
as your guide to check those students who are enrolled in the said subject and
choose your groupmates. With this, there are 22 groups with 3 members and 1
pair only (22 x 3= 66, 66+ 2= 68)
• There will be no lecture in Med Ethics this Tuesday, October 19 (5pm-6pm), no
need for the class to be in the zoom meeting. But Dr. Lanuza will be in the zoom
meeting, nakastand-by and wait for a group if magpa-consult regarding sa case na
ipresent.
• For the class task today, choose your group and put your names in the gdoc. I’ll
provide the link below. You can write your names on any of the trio numbers. I’ll
randomize it again for the final order tomorrow to be fair to everyone and randomly
ra man sab magchoose si Dr. Lanuza sa magreport, so it won’t still matter.
Deadline in inputting your names will be tonight at 11pm. There will be 1 set ra
magpair in our section, the rest kay in trio na.
• After choosing your groupmates, you discuss with your groupmates what is the
case or situation you want to present then put it in the gdoc also. 1 case only.
Deadline is on Oct 18 (Monday) 11pm. Put a statement of the case that serve as
the title. This case presentation has no limitation lang on what situations or cases
you want to present as long as the case correlates on any of the Med Ethics topics
discussed by Dr. Lanuza. Check the Insignis & Excelsus Trans as your guide.
