What I have learned

Since this organization caters large number of people all over Pakistan, it has helped me learn
how to deal with people who belong to different classes for example; upper, middle and lower
class and who are from different backgrounds. Moreover, this company has also helped me
understand how much important it to cope up with the changing trends and how to resolve the
occurring issues without stressing out. The experience has made me realize and acknowledge
the fact that a proper working environment leads to efficiency and better productivity.

Communication Skills

As I took up up the job of dealing with people/customers through hotline calls I realized how
much my communication skills were important as not all the customers who communicated
with me were satisfied or happy and it was important to first calm them down and give them
assurance in order to resolve the problem that took place. I did face some problems while
communicating my point of view without sounding harsh or rude as during this internship I was
in a place where I couldn’t disrespect the customers but still had to communicate and tell them
about my point of view. This experience allowed me to control my anger during such difficult
situations.

o Critical Thinking

This part also played a very vital role as it helped me understand the importance of prioritizing
the task according to its importance and according to the problem and situation. When you
encounter a dissatisfied customer, it is important to take immediate decisions without any delays.
I made sure that whenever there was any mistake from the side of the company, I correct it right
away and then right a detailed report to the company in order to inform them about the faults and
the problem that took place and how we solved the issue. In order to avoid a similar problem in
the future.
o Team work
Teamwork is the vital part of an organization as the supervisor who does all the replacing is
risky hence the workers join hands and work together as a team in order to achieve the target and
complete the assigned tasks. After which the general manager takes opinions from the workers
and then sets the targets which are then completed by the workers under the supervision of the
manager. As I had various number of duties every day it was impossible for me to complete the
tasks without the help of other coworkers hence, I needed to take everybody on board and set a
tempo that everybody could work at.

o Punctuality

In the organization punctuality is very important which decides the success or downfall of the
company. If the company is late at completing its task it would force the customers to assume
that the organization is irresponsible and can’t complete its tasks on time. One problem that I
faced the most was completing the assigned tasks on time and this internship helped me
understand the importance of time which also helped me overcome my laziness in life,
something I had been dealing with since a very long time.
