2. Why should parents monitor their children’s use of the Internet?

Parents need to ensure that their children know how to use the Internet in a
healthy and productive way as it can hide many risks.
First and foremost, kids can be exposed to harmful interactions like
cyberbullying and harassment, as well as inappropriate content. Most of
these victims suffer emotional stress and anxiety but never tell their parents.
Also, a child could become involved in relationships with people who
pretend to be someone online that they are not in real life. Chat rooms,
internet messaging, social networking, and video games are all online spaces
where establishing contact is easy. Online predators are strangers who seek
to begin a relationship online with a kid with the intention of committing
child sexual abuse.
Furthermore, children unintentionally reveal more about themselves than
they should online, helping dangerous "digital strangers" find them in the
real world or use their personal information.
Finally, the Internet limits real social interaction. Spending too much time
and energy interacting with virtual friends on a screen instead of actually
meeting people can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation.

1. What environmental problems have better living conditions caused?

I think air pollution and climate change as a result of the burning of fossil
fuels present major global threats for planet Earth. Also, deforestation
leads to the loss and destruction of the habitat of many animal species.

3. Why should music be included in the school curriculum?

It stimulates the brain, especially in young learners, and improves memory
skills. Students learn to discipline themselves to reach goals. And most
importantly, it can be a source of stress relief.

4. Is your generation luckier than previous generations? Why? Why

not?
I think we are as we haven’t experienced the horror of a war or conditions
of extreme poverty. Medicine has made great progress and lots of
diseases that used to be fatal in the past don’t exist anymore. Of course,
there are still people who suffer a lot but in general mankind has moved
forward.

5. Are you an adventurous eater? Why? Why not?

Personally, I’m not that keen on trying new foods. I prefer Greek
traditional cuisine and I simply adore my mum’s dishes. I once tasted tofu,
a kind of soya cheese and I didn’t like it.
