In 1990, Glenn Neely published Mastering Elliott Wave, which introduced an extremely

comprehensive – and advanced – approach to Wave analysis. In addition to advancing Wave
Theory concepts, his goal was to introduce logic to orthodox Elliott Wave, elevating it to a
more scientific level.

Glenn Neely’s revolutionary techniques to objectively analyze and forecast market conditions
were based on his many years of research, instruction, and application of Wave Theory as
well as real-time trading. After years of pushing the boundaries of orthodox Elliott Wave, he
introduced a logical, scientific, step-by-step approach to Wave forecasting – and advanced
approach that he now calls NEoWave. Glenn Neely’s breakthrough book revolutionized
Wave theory forever.

As one reviewer of Mastering Elliott Wave states, “This book is simply exceptional. It is

rare that anybody with Glenn Neely’s knowledge would simply hand over the keys to the
castle, but that’s what he did. What’s really great about this book is the fact that it is so
detailed, technical, and difficult.”
In this now-classic book, chapter by chapter, Glenn Neely shows readers how to:

 Learn new ways to improve your Wave analysis and Wave forecasts
 Recognize Wave patterns
 Improve your market predictions
 Create more precise forecasts – without contradictory bearish and
bullish scenarios
 Learn how to apply the three core elements of this advanced
approach to Wave theory
The Three Core Elements:

1. Logic (for example, a strong correction must yield a powerful move)

2. Self-defining price/time limits (for example, a smaller degree pattern
cannot take more time and price than a larger degree pattern)
3. Self-Confirmation (that is, the market’s post-pattern behavior
determines whether your prior structural analysis was correct)
Note that all three elements have a “back-casting” aspect (as opposed to
forecasting), where you make sure (after the fact) a pattern did not take too much
or too little time, that it was not too complex or too simple, and that post-pattern
price action achieved the minimum movement required to confirm the prior
pattern.

Step-by-step, this now-classic book continues to present the most

logical, objective, and scientific approach to Wave forecasting ever
created.
Plus, readers get Glenn Neely’s longstanding prediction made in 1988 in the appendix:
“Stock Market Forecast to the Year 2060.” This might be one of the longest stock market
predictions ever made!

Here’s what readers have said through the decades:

“Once you become proficient in traditional Elliott wave

theory you begin to understand its deep limitations. This
is even more so if you have been trained in the typical
way - which is to identify impulses in strongly trending
markets and simple three wave corrections in choppy,
sideways markets. Once you open Neely's book you can
never go back.”

“This book is simply exceptional. It is rare that anybody

with Glenn Neely's knowledge would simply hand over
the keys to the castle, but that's what he did. What's
really great about this book is the fact that it is so
detailed, technical, and difficult; precisely the reasons
why some gave it one or two stars. Let's be honest, most
material available on Elliott Wave on the Internet tends
to general and vague to the point of being useless. Elliott
Wave may or may not be a good way to analyze markets,
but at least with Glenn Neely's book, you can put it to a
rigorous test. Surely, the concepts and rules in this book
will take some time to master and apply proficiently, but
I have been able to use some of these ideas to start
labeling the 2007 bear market.

I got the book this past Wednesday, and I have been able
to absorb key concepts in I don't know... four days. No, I
didn't read Prechter’s book, nor did I score 2220 on the
GRE, nor did I need the Rosetta Stone. Granted, I have
been studying markets for years, have extreme comfort
with highly technical concepts, and did go to Harvard
College. But I think the first two reasons mattered more
in my comfort in absorbing Mr. Neeley's book (though
Princeton and Yale grads may need remedial help).
Given it's highly technical nature, I'll probably have to
devote significant study in memorizing the rules and
applying them with some frustration to monowave price
movements. But all worthwhile endeavors require
dedication.”

“If you are prepared to spend a lot of time working

through the minutiae of the rules and conditions
contained within this book (especially using your own
data) you will find this a most rewarding endeavor.
Wave theory is not for the faint-hearted, it requires a lot
of time and application to give you the building blocks to
come up with a view of the market.”
- A. Stevenson

Even after decades of its original publication date, Mastering Elliott

Wave is still a relevant, must-have book for any serious Wave
practitioner.
