Objective: To plan a piece of work with a group

In groups, you are going to make up your own breakfast TV show.

You need to think about what you want to put on the show, and who is going to play
which part.

Firstly, decide what is going to be on the show.

Objective: To learn how to use a split scene in drama

In groups you are going to make up a play about 2 families who are neighbours.
One is rich, the other are poor. They are opposite.
The play is about how they don’t like each other, but in the play they do not
meet. We see the family in their home, and they moan about the neighbours.

Rehearse your scenes separately, then work out when one family will freeze, and
the other side speaks. This needs to be done carefully.

The most important thing to remember when building tension into a scene is

Your scene is set in a restaurant, but it’s not a very good one! Things keep going
wrong – how do you react?
