For Sara, her mum is her hero because she is the

best mum and the best scientist in the world. But
even Sara’s mum cannot find a cure for the
coronavirus. “What is COVID-19?” Sara asked her
mum. “COVID-19, or the coronavirus, is a very
small virus. Some symptoms are fever, cough, and
difficulty in breathing,” says her mum. “How can we
fight COVID-19?” Sarah asks. “Everyone can fight
it,” says Sara’s mum. “Children are special and they
can help too. You can be my hero, Sara.”

Sara goes to bed but she is angry. She wants to go

to school but her school is closed. She wants to see
her friends but it is not safe. Sara wants the
coronavirus to stop. “I want to be a hero, but I don’t
have superpowers”. Then, Sara hears a voice:
“Sara, Sara, why do you want to be a hero?” “I want
to tell the children in the world how to protect
themselves and protect everyone else.” Sara says.
“I want to fly; I want something with a big voice.”

In that moment, a bid dragon appears in Sara’s

bedroom. “What’s your name?” asked Sara. “I’m
Ario” responded the dragon. “Where are you from?”
asked Sara. “I come from your heart,” says Ario. “I
can fly with you, I can tell the children how to protect
themselves and everyone else, I can be a hero!”
says Sara.

So Sara jumps on Ario’s back and they fly together. In the
morning Sara and Ario meet Salem in the desert by the
pyramids. “Welcome, I am Salem!” says one of the boys.
“Sorry but we should stay one metre away!” Sara says “It
is perfect! Do you know how to protect yourself and
everyone else?” “Yes, we wash our hands with soap and
water, cough into our elbows and we try to stay inside our
homes.” Salem says. “Can I fly with you?” Ario says
“Hmm. Yes, Sara and Salem, please sit on both sides of
my wings. They are one metre apart.” Ario flies into the
sky with Salem and Sara. They see different places and
see that many things changed.

“So many things changed,” says Sara. “I am scared.” Ario asks

Salem and Sara “What do you do when you get scared?” “I like
thinking of the people that make me feel safe,” says Sara. “I
like talking with my grandparents on the phone,” says Salem.
“I cannot visit my grandparents because I can give them the
coronavirus. I miss them.” “It is normal to miss people we love
that we can’t see in this moment,” says Ario. “You are a hero
Salem. When you don’t visit your grandparents to protect them,
you are a hero. Do you want to meet other heroes?” “Yes,
please!” Sara and Salem cry back. “Great, my friend Sasha has
a very special superpower. Let’s go!” says Ario.

“This is my friend Sasha. Sasha, this is Sara and this

is Salem,” says Ario. “Nice to meet you Sara and
Salem. Welcome!” Sasha responds. Ario says
“Sasha, I want my friends to learn about your
superpower.” “My superpower? What is my
superpower?” asks Sasha. “Your dad got sick and
you are staying at home not to give the coronavirus
to other people,” says Ario. Sasha says “Yes, I am
at home until he recovers completely. But it’s not
bad. We play games, we cook, and we have
breakfast, lunch and dinner together. My brothers
and I touch our toes and dance. We read books too.
I continue learning but I miss school.” “It’s not easy,
Sasha. You are finding ways to have fun in this
difficult situation. That makes you my hero!” says
Ario. “Do you ever fight with your family? Salem asks
Sasha. “We fight sometimes,” says Sasha. “We
have to be extra patient, extra understanding, and
quicker to say I’m sorry. That is a superpower
because it makes me and others feel better. You are
right Ario, I am a hero!”

It is time to go home, and time for Sara

to say goodbye to her new friends. They
promise they will always remember this
adventure together. Sara feels sad but
she remembers what she has learned.
Just because you can’t see people, it
doesn’t mean you stop loving them.
“Sara, it’s time for you to go to bed.
Remember, protect the people you
love. Wash your hands, stay home and
say ‘I’m sorry’ when you fight with your
family.” says Ario. “You are my hero,”
says Sara to Ario. “You are my hero too,
Sara. You are a hero to all the people
that love you.” Ario says this and flies
away.

In the morning Sara draws everything

they have learnt on their adventure and
runs to her mum with the pictures.
“Mum, we can protect people from
coronavirus” Sara says. “I met so many
heroes on my adventure. Children can
be heroes.” “Oh Sara, you are right!”
says her mum. “We can all be heroes,
every day, and my biggest hero is you.”

Para Sara, su mamá es su héroe porque es la

mejor mamá y la mejor científica del mundo. Pero
ni siquiera la madre de Sara puede encontrar una
cura para el coronavirus. "¿Qué es COVID-19?"
Sara le preguntó a su mamá. “COVID-19, o el
coronavirus, es un virus muy pequeño. Algunos

Sara se va a la cama, pero está enojada. Quiere ir a

la escuela, pero su escuela está cerrada. Quiere ver
a sus amigos, pero no es seguro. Sara quiere que se
detenga el coronavirus. "Quiero ser un héroe, pero no
tengo superpoderes". Entonces, Sara escucha una
voz: "Sara, Sara, ¿por qué quieres ser una heroína?"
“Quiero decirles a los niños del mundo cómo
protegerse y proteger a los demás”. Sara dice.
"Quiero volar; Quiero algo dijo con una gran voz ".

En ese momento, aparece un dragón enorme en el

dormitorio de Sara. "¿Cuál es tu nombre?" preguntó
Sara. "Soy Ario" respondió el dragón. "¿De dónde
eres?" preguntó Sara. “Vengo de tu corazón”, dice
Ario. "Puedo volar contigo, puedo decirles a los
niños cómo protegerse a sí mismos y a los demás,
¡puedo ser un héroe!" dice Sara.

Entonces Sara salta sobre la espalda de Ario y vuelan
juntos. Por la mañana, Sara y Ario se encuentran con
Salem en el desierto junto a las pirámides. "¡Bienvenido,
soy Salem!" dice uno de los chicos. "¡Lo siento, pero
debemos quedarnos a un metro de distancia!" Sara dice
“¡Es perfecto! ¿Sabes cómo protegerte y proteger a los
demás? " "Sí, nos lavamos las manos con agua y jabón,
tosemos en los codos y tratamos de quedarnos dentro de
nuestras casas". Salem dice. "¿Puedo volar contigo?"
Ario dice “Hmm. Sí, Sara y Salem, siéntense a ambos
lados de mis alas. Están a un metro de distancia ". Ario
vuela hacia el cielo con Salem y Sara. Ven diferentes
lugares y ven que muchas cosas cambiaron.

“Tantas cosas cambiaron”, dice Sara. "Estoy asustado." Ario le

pregunta a Salem y Sara: "¿Qué haces cuando te asustas?"
“Me gusta pensar en las personas que me hacen sentir
segura”, dice Sara. “Me gusta hablar con mis abuelos por
teléfono”, dice Salem. “No puedo visitar a mis abuelos porque
puedo contagiarles el coronavirus. Los extraño." "Es normal
extrañar a las personas que amamos y que no podemos ver
en este momento", dice Ario. “Eres un héroe Salem. Cuando
no visitas a tus abuelos para protegerlos, eres un héroe.
¿Quieres conocer a otros héroes? " "¡Sí por favor!" Sara y
Salem lloran de nuevo. “Genial, mi amiga Sasha tiene un
superpoder muy especial. ¡Vámonos!" dice Ario.

“Esta es mi amiga Sasha. Sasha, ella es Sara y ella

es Salem ”, dice Ario. Encantado de conocerte Sara
y Salem. ¡Bienvenidos!" Sasha responde. Ario dice
"Sasha, quiero que mis amigos aprendan sobre tu
superpoder". “¿Mi superpoder? ¿Cuál es mi
superpoder? " pregunta Sasha. “Tu papá se enfermó
y tú te quedas en casa para no contagiar el
coronavirus a otras personas”, dice Ario. Sasha dice:
“Sí, estoy en casa hasta que se recupere por
completo. Pero no está mal. Jugamos, cocinamos y
desayunamos, almorzamos y cenamos juntos. Mis
hermanos y yo nos tocamos los dedos de los pies y
bailamos. También leemos libros. Sigo aprendiendo
pero echo de menos la escuela ". "No es fácil, Sasha.
Estás encontrando formas de divertirte en esta difícil
situación. ¡Eso te convierte en mi héroe! " dice Ario.
“¿Alguna vez peleaste con tu familia? Salem le
pregunta a Sasha. “A veces peleamos”, dice Sasha.
“Tenemos que ser más pacientes, más comprensivos
y más rápidos para decir que lo siento. Es una
superpotencia porque nos hace sentir mejor a mí y a
los demás. Tienes razón Ario, ¡soy un héroe! "

Es hora de irse a casa y de que Sara se

despida de sus nuevos amigos.
Prometen que siempre recordarán
juntos esta aventura. Sara se siente
triste pero recuerda lo que ha
aprendido. El hecho de que no puedas
ver a las personas no significa que
dejes de amarlas. Sara, es hora de que
te vayas a la cama. Recuerde, proteja a
las personas que ama. Lávate las
manos, quédate en casa y di 'lo siento'
cuando pelees con tu familia ". dice
Ario. "Eres mi héroe", le dice Sara a
Ario. Tú también eres mi héroe, Sara.
Eres un héroe para todas las personas
que te quieren ". Ario dice esto y se va
volando.

Por la mañana Sara dibuja todo lo que

han aprendido en su aventura y corre
hacia su mamá con los dibujos. “Mamá,
podemos proteger a las personas del
coronavirus”, dice Sara. “Conocí a
tantos héroes en mi aventura. Los niños
pueden ser héroes ". "¡Oh Sara, tienes
razón!" dice su mamá. "Todos podemos
ser héroes, todos los días, y mi mayor
héroe eres tú".
