17. MOULD PREVENTION

 Mould formation could be due to the humidity and climatic

change that the products go through from one place to another
 Where the humidity levels are high (dependent on country and
season), the bags needs to be de-humidified before packing and
the poly bag should have some holes for air ventilation
 Ensure that the product is fully dry before packing any product
 Ideal conditions should be the moisture content should be <16%
and the Relative humidity should be <70%. This is for leather
 All Autumn/Winter product, regardless of country of maunfacture
must have the micro fresh spray applied, this is due to the fact that
manufacturing will take place during the highest periods of
humidity
 Product for Spring/Summer should not be affected by the level of
climate change and therefore presently are not required to use
Microfresh.
