What does it mean to trust in jesus

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.

There are 3 aspects we can learn from the bible

1. Commit your ways in him ( His will)

Proverbs 16:3
Commit thy work unto the Lord, and thy thought shall be established
2. Find rest in him (His love)
Matthew 11:28
Come to me all you weary and burdened and I will give you rest

3. Take delight in Him ( His promise)

Psalms 37:4
Delight yourself in the lord, and he will give you the desire of your heart

God isn’t asking you to figure it out. He is asking you to trust that he already has
