C VID-19 PANDEMIC

My thoughts and reflections about

It started in the year 2020. A year full of undesirable happenings that caused pain and suffering to us all.
The coronavirus has a significant impact on me. Physically, it has reduced my daily physical activity to
the point where the only exercise I get is walking around my house and watched Korean series that
makes me feel like I'm not in the middle of a pandemic.

The pandemic set a new mode of learning which is online classes. At first, I admit I had a hard time
adjusting since we are all used to face-to-face classes and I'm missing my closest friends at school a lot.
But after some time, I slowly learn how to handle online classes, how to manage my time at home and
with my modules/activities. My professors set deadlines for us to finish our assignments well without
pressure. I am lucky to be part of a university who value their student's mental health and does
everything to provide us things we can use for our online classes. Staying at home has never been this
good. Aside from keeping ourselves safe from the virus, we can also be educated in the comfort of our
homes. It is convenient for me to stay at home because I have time to search and read books in advance.
The new technologies are useful during these times. Even with this COVID 19 Pandemic, we can still find
ways to learn new things through the internet or with the use of our books.

For me, the current state of events has placed the world on hold, but it has allowed me to dwell on some
personal issues I have with my life. This is the best time to reflect on some decisions we made in previous
years when the pandemic is not yet here. We should not take for granted the simple things we
experience every day because we don't know someday, we might not be able to do this again.
