22.1 Flexi Power Distribution Sub-Module (FPFD)

Flexi Power Distribution Sub-Module (FPFD) is a highly integrated optional size-
optimized power distribution unit (PDU) for System Module variant FSMF. It is installed in
the top left slot of the System Module.
The FPFD has integrated basic Over Voltage Protection (OVP Type approval level with
2kV/1kV), EMC filtering and reverse polarity protection. It is IP65 rated.
Flexi Power Distribution Sub-Module (FPFD) can be used for stacked and feederless
configurations in the same way as earlier integrated Flexi PDUs. In feederless
configurations, FPFD can be used with optional Over Voltage Protection units (Flexi
System External OVP FSEC or FSES).
Flexi Power Distribution Sub-Module (FPFD) provides four external -48 V DC outputs
(fixed to 1100 W) for Flexi Modules (RF Module, RRH, or external System Module) or
any standard 48 V DC device at the site, and one internal DC output to System Module
itself.
