Good morning Ka-sibil.

I am Lester Khiets Roa a student of BSCE 2-a running for the position of Vice President Internal
under the banner of Arch Party which stands for Alliance for Real Change.

Since then, I’ve envision myself as a student who uses leadership to uplift and inspire my fellow
students to be better in their own way. I feel like it is my fate to step up and lead to be the voice
of the voiceless. Now, accepting another challenge and another opportunity to serve the Civil
engineering students is a great honor and a great platform to expand and lend my potentials to
the progress of our department.

As your next Vice President-Internal, I will act as a liaison between student body and
administrators, ensure the continuous operation of all facets of the organization, enforce
organizational policies and procedures where applicable, advocate for the student interests in all
appropriate situations and uphold and promote the values in all organizational related activities.
To further the reach of my capabilities as your Vice President-Internal, I present to you my
platforms for the betterment of our council.

Ka-sibil, Kasangga: A day to Care and Share

As an advocate of mental health awareness, we will further utilize our social media platforms
particularly our Facebook group and Discord Server where CE students can gather together and
talk the struggles and difficulties of each students and find solutions as one department. In this
case, we will give a day where we can openly share our feelings and our insights about the
events we are encountering. Also, it can serve as a medium where CE students can share
knowledge and ideas about academic concerns. With this platform, we can collect all CE
students to look for one another and ensure that no one is left behind.

Academic-related Activities and Competitions

In this platform, we will conduct webinars about Civil Engineering to open the minds of our
fellow CE students not only in the field of studying this degree but also in the field of work. To
make it more interesting and exciting, we will have competitions related to our degree to exercise
our intellectual side and at the same time practice fairness and excellence.
