To the parents of Peter,

Throughout the lessons that Peter has been par cipa ng in virtually with us, he has showed great
enthusiasm, athle cism, and eagerness to get involved. He is very understanding of the tasks that are
being presented to him and he performs them at a high level. Peter has taught us a lot in the area of
manipula ve skills, he has shown us that he has a passion for most of the skills such as dribbling, kicking,
and 2 handed striking. This helps us as teachers because we were able to further educate him on skills
and perform ac vi es that he enjoyed par cipa ng in. He showed us that it is easier to teach a student
who enjoys the lessons that they are partaking in. His willingness to learn and get be er is inspiring!
Peter’s manipula ve/ object control skills have increased throughout this whole semester. The rst me
we met with him he had prior knowledge of most of the skills but was lacking with the correct form for
skills such as underhand throw and overhand throw. Throughout the semester his form has improved
tremendously, and he completes tasks with those skills e ortlessly. Peter had most of his struggles with
some of the locomotor movements such as skipping, galloping, and leaping. Throughout the semester
we have incorporated these skills in tasks that also include some of the ac vi es he enjoys doing such as
dribbling the ball or tossing a ball into a basket. This has helped Peter tremendously as he understands
the form be er for these movements and is more eager to try them out. We s ll encourage Peter to
work on his locomotor movements everyday as this can help later in life with sports that he may want to
par cipate in.
Peter’s tness level has also improved throughout this semester. We implemented tness ac vi es that
included exercises such as jumping jacks, squats, lunges, and mountain climbers. For the rst couple of
lessons, we started o with the lighter work such as jumping jacks and light jogging in place. As the
semester progressed forward, we started to challenge Peter with more physically demanding exercises
such as mountain climbers which really work the core strength. Peter handled the harder exercises well
and was able to perform them, but I would strongly encourage that he con nues to work on the more
di cult tness exercises as it will help him live a be er lifestyle.
Peter really seems to enjoy playing sports that require the skills of throwing, catching, dribbling, and 2
handed striking. Peter should con nue to follow his passion by staying ac ve with the ac vi es that he
enjoys performing. Whether that means he should play in a compe ve league or just perform these
ac vi es in his backyard it is important for him to stay ac ve no ma er what.
Finally, we just want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with Peter! He is such a bright
and energe c student, who has lots of poten al to play the sports he likes in a compe ve ma er. I
hope Peter con nues to work on these skills and gets be er each and every day!
Sincerely,
Joseph Economico and Jake Rossi
