How to connect ?
CDIS Administration Tool service provides a user friendly interface to manage end users’
access rights and delegations. The access to this service is granted to the UEA (User
Entity Administrator) of your company only.

With the CDIS Administration Tool, you can manage:


• The access rights for any users of your company
• The delegations to operators, if any
• The delegation to airworthiness
authorities
• The delegation to any other
third party company

page is a summary of your new
CDIS services and aircraft, since
the last 3 months.

This page shows your new owned


aircraft, but also those newly
delegated by another company

By default, all CDIS Services for all your aircraft are authorized for any users of your

If you want to restrict the access to some of them, you must create a specific profile for
these users. This profile may be based on a subset of allowed services and aircraft.

Access rights of your company

Default consultation rules = Default Profile


– Consultation of the aircraft you own (at time of Delivery)
– Consultation of the aircraft you operate (at time of Delivery) if the owner does
not restrain it
– Consultation of the aircraft you have been authorised to, via a delegation
received from the initial owner

The Default profile is automatically


updated and assigned to each user of
your company
– But you can create new profile in order to limit the access to some
aircraft and/or to some services

How to create a new profile ? (1/3)

Step 1:
Select Profile Rights” and “Create New” to create a new profile.

Step 2:
Set a profile name and a description. Click on “Next” button

Select “None” for each
service to be restricted or
“write” (when applicable
e.g. QLB) to grant write
access.

Step 4:
You can filter A/C list using
search criteria.

To authorize sold aircraft,


select ‘All’ into “Aircraft
status” field and click on
“Filter”. Then select “Show
Sold A/C”. All sold aircraft
will be displayed.

To authorize not anymore

Select “Profile Rights”. List of existing profiles is displayed

Automatic profile assignment rules

Profile assignment by default


Each company gets at least 4 profiles:
– A default profile:
• New CDIS users are automatically assign to this profile
• This profile allows users to access to all CDIS services.
– A write profile to MSCN:
• This profile allows users to access to MSCN service with write rights
– A write profile to QLB:
• This profile allows users to access to QLB service with write rights
– A write profile to BFE:
• This profile allows users to access to BFE service with write rights

The UEA user can affect end-users to existing


profiles.

The UEA user can create specific profiles and


affect users to those profiles.

How to assign a profile to your end-users ? (1/3)
Step 1:
Select “User Profile Assignment” to display list of end-users.

Step 2:
Manage user’s profile page allows to make a search on one or several
users and for one or all profiles.
Search can be made on first name, last name, email and profile.

Into name field, “*” character aids the search.


For example, enter *Martin* into Last Name field and click on search, all users whom name
is containing “Martin” with default profile will be displayed.

Automatic delegation rules (1/2)

Delegation by default
 At time of delivery:
– Access to the aircraft is given to the owner and operator
• Access is granted to all CDIS services.
– Each aircraft is delegated to its airworthiness authority
• This delegation is done only for the AIR and Conformity Documentation
services

Automatic delegations are created from initial

operator when property title change is known by AIRBUS
• This delegation is done for all CDIS services

How to request Aircraft access to Owner ?
Step 1:
Select “A/C Rights Delegation” and click on “Request Access to Owner"

Step 2:
Select Family and MSN
number of A/C you
request access.
