A few decades ago, traveling overseas or communicating with people who speak
a different language was not part of everyday life. Today though, countries and
communities around the world are becoming more connected. We can feel that people
can easily establish a communication and socialization towards each other. Unlike
before, the process of communication and socialization is challenging. People are
oblige to travel from the place of the person that they want to meet or by just sending a
letter which will took several weeks or months to reach the recipient. In addition, travel
is more affordable and accessible, and businesses and operating on global scale,
irrespective of how large they are.
Nowadays, the role of technology has contributed to the easy access and
exchange of information these days. Advancement in technology have made a great
affect on the way we communicate with one another. Communication methods have
evolved over the years from simple text messages and audio calls to more effective
services. The impact of communication technology has had an impact on both
individuals and businesses, influencing individuals communication patterns.
Advancement in new technology as well greatly contribute in transacting and
communicating in a global setting. In transacting and communicating globally there are
preparations that a person should be done one of these preparations is having a
general understanding of the differences in conducting communication from one country
to another or from one culture to another culture. Having an in depth preparation and
understanding about this consideration would help a person to further establish a great
communication with those people in a global setting.
