1.What is culture?
Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people,
encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts. Culture is a
way of life. It comprises of language, religion and specific lifestyles. It can never be
easy to define culture, because there exists no static definition of it. Rather, it is a
continuously evolving, having dynamic entity, which characterizes the entire
lifestyle of a certain group of people.

2. Example of culture
They are social organization, customs, religion, language, government,
economy, and arts.

3. Kinds of culture

The two basic types of culture are material culture, physical things
produced by a society, and nonmaterial culture, intangible things
produced by a society.

4. Characteristics of culture

Culture has several aspects to it. There are several characteristics of


culture. Culture is learned, shared, symbolic, integrated, adaptive, and
dynamic.
5. Why is culture is important?

Culture is a strong part of people's lives. It influences their views, their


values, their humor, their hopes, their loyalties, and their worries and
fears. So when you are working with people and building relationships
with them, it helps to have some perspective and understanding of
their cultures.

6. Benefits of culture

In addition to its intrinsic value, culture provides important social and


economic benefits. With improved learning and health, increased
tolerance, and opportunities to come together with others, culture
enhances our quality of life and increases overall well-being for both
individuals and communities.

7. Elements of culture

The major elements of culture are symbols, language, norms, values,


and artifacts.
