My chosen report is about electricity, in my report I defined what is electricity and much more

about the atoms. As a recap electricity is briefly defined as the flow of electric charge. And an
atom is built with a combination of three distinct particles: electrons, protons, and neutrons. Each
atom has a center nucleus, where the protons and neutrons are densely packed together.
Surrounding the nucleus are a group of orbiting electrons. In doing this task I was hesitant what
should I write, so since I already discussed what is electricity and atoms. I’ve decided that this
whole essay will be about on how I conserve electricity at home, First I always unplug unused
electric appliances. Leaving unused electric appliances on standby still consumes energy. For
example, a cathode-ray tube television and its digital box on standby mode still consume 16
watts. And according to my research it is equivalent to PHP57.60 wasted electricity in a month.
Second I always clean our fridge and avoiding opening it longer than necessary. At home We Do
not open the refrigerator for a longer time since refrigerator door opening accounts for seven
percent of the consumption. Third, we always use LED lights. Convert your lighting system from
compact fluorescent light to light-emitting diode or LED as it saves as much as 50 percent of
energy. And lastly we turn off the lights when not needed. Turning off one light bulb for six
hours will save you PHP25 a month.
