STUDENTS GUIDELINES ON BLENDED LEARNING/MODULAR TEACHING – LEARNING

THIRD TRIMESTER, SCHOOL YEAR 2020 – 2021

THIRD TRIMESTER MIDTERM AND FINAL GRADING PERIODS

Midterm Grading Period Modules 1 – 5
March 22 – May 12, 2021 Module 1(PE Subjects only)

Final Grading Period Modules 6 – 10

May 13 – June 30, 2021 Module 2 (PE Subjects only)

A. BLENDED LEARNING
➢ Synchronous Classes:
First 2 subjects: Every Monday during the specific schedule of the section
7:30 am – 9:30 am
(Grade 11) For sections with same schedule handled by same teacher,
12:30 pm – 2:30 pm the synchronous class of the later section shall be every
(Grade 12) Wednesday during the specific schedule of the section.

Last 3 subjects: Every Tuesday during the specific schedule of the section
9:30 am – 12:30 pm
(Grade 11) For sections with same schedule handled by same teacher,
2:30 pm – 5:30 pm the synchronous class of the later section shall be every
(Grade 12) Thursday during the specific schedule of the section.

PE Synchronous Classes are scheduled by respective PE teachers.

Course audit synchronous classes for TVL students are scheduled by respective
subject teachers.

In cases of holidays that fall on Monday and/or Tuesday, synchronous classes on

Monday/Tuesday schedule shall be conducted on Wednesday/Thursday within
the week, respectively.
Note: No teachers shall change schedule without approval from the office of the principal.

➢ Asynchronous Classes:
Access to uploaded and published learning materials is based on student’s
internet connectivity.

➢ Collaborative learning classes every Friday.

It is 1 hour within the specified time.
Class advisers must determine the specific schedule within the specified time.

10:00 am – 12:00 nn Grade 12 Sections
Note: Schedule of synchronous classes, asynchronous classes and collaborative learning classes is in
compliance with general guidelines and considerations of DM-C1-2020-00162.

B. MODULAR TEACHING – LEARNING
➢ Request of Printed Modules:
Subject teachers must evaluate the student’s internet capability prior to the
approval of the request.
Students must send request of printed modules to respective subject teachers
through SMS, messenger (Private message) or email following the given format:

➢ Release of Printed of Modules:

Students/Parents/Guardians must strictly follow the schedule of release of printed
modules at UC SHS Help Desk (UC Gate 2).
Students/Parents/Guardians must provide a proof of approved request of
printed modules by the subject teachers (i.e. SMS, Message through messenger
or email from the subject teacher).

 ➢ Submission of Activities from the Printed Modules:
Activities/Outputs from the printed modules shall be submitted before
procurement of succeeding modules.
Submission of activities from the printed modules shall be done through:
✓ Messenger (Private Message to subject teachers with screenshot or picture
file of the activity)
✓ Email (to be sent as attachment)
✓ Hard copy of the activities at UC Gate 2 during the schedule of procurement
of succeeding modules.

printed) for any purpose without permission from the University of the Cordilleras is prohibited and will be dealt with
accordingly.
