Products
Our entire production is concentrated on shipbuilding. A long time ago we were among the
several highly respected shipyards in our region building exclusively wooden ships. As
time passed and with the onset of new technologies, our shipyard followed the trends and
the market demands and, at some point, the first steel vessels became the shipyard's most
important product. At first, the plates were joined by rivets and later the shipyard adopted
the technology of arc welding. Understandably, further technological development imposed
the acquiring of new skills and the use of new materials, such as aluminium.

Our experience with aluminium shipbuilding started 15 years ago in German and Italian
shipyards, where our skilled workers were engaged in the construction of some
sophisticated ship parts in aluminium. This was the basis of the future development and
implementation of aluminium shipbuilding technology in our shipyard. Since 2008 until
today we have delivered 29 marine vessels ranging in length from 7 to 43 meters (work
boats, patrol boats, ferries, passenger ships etc.).

8
Business Profile of Tehnomont Shipyard Pula ltd
In 2012 we delivered a new passenger catamaran vessel of 37 meters in length and 14
meters wide whose superstructure was completely made of aluminium alloy and
constructed without supporting pillars between the main deck and the sun deck.

For this purpose of realisation of this project we have invested in a new workshop hall that
was built last year, which is movable on rails, and could be extended to reach up to 100
meters in length.

9
Business Profile of Tehnomont Shipyard Pula ltd
Furthermore, in the last fifteen years, our engineers and foremen have worked on a "turn-
key" basis, on building and assembling of aluminium block sections on different types of
ships e.g. cruisers and other types of ships in Italian and German shipyards.

At the "Fincantieri Cantiere Navale di Monfalcone" shipyard, from 2004 up to 2010, we

were engaged on a series of cruise ships of the "Princess" and "Carnival" type, on works
from deck 12 above, with 25 skilled workers and foremen and with the support of our
welding engineers. The production volume of each ship was approx. 40 to 50 tonnes of
aluminium block sections.

In Germany, our experience in aluminium shipbuilding is quite vast. For the client Shipyard
Lurssen – Bremen we have built large parts of the aluminium superstructure for a 165 m
Yacht for the Kingdom of Oman. Furthermore, we participated in the building and complete
outfitting of aluminium funnels for the cruise ships in "Meyer Werft" (ships for: AIDA, NCL,
DISNEY).
The weight of these funnels was from 104 up to 160 tonnes. We have built several signals
masts from aluminium for these ships as well.
Most of the personnel engaged on these works, today works in our Shipyard in Pula.

10
Business Profile of Tehnomont Shipyard Pula ltd
Our shipyard has been certified and possesses workshop welding approvals for different
types of ships and shipbuilding structures in steel and aluminium alloy issued by the
Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS), Bureau Veritas (BV) and GSI SLV München
(certificates attached).

In our WELDING DEPARTMENT we have two specialists holding the degree of

International Welding Engineers (IWE/EWE) and two holding the degree of International
Welding Specialist (IWS/EWS). They are responsible for the quality of welding works, the
implementation of new welding technologies and permanent training and supervision of
our welders and their quality.
Training for welders is well organized in our Welding skills professional school (workshop).
The certificates of our IWE engineers and IWS specialists are in attachment.

Services
Concentrating our main efforts towards building of new vessels, our other services revolve
around the ship repair division, but this activity is less significant in terms of income.

Quality policy & objectives

Our Management System is certified in accordance with the requirements of the
management system standard ISO 9001:2008, by Bureau Veritas (BV).
Our CONTROL DEPARTMENT is highly skilled and disposes of all the necessary
equipment for quality control for structural buildings and welding works (NDT, Ultrasonic
and Penetrants).

Business model
TEHNOMONT SHIPYARD PULA Ltd's business model is based on a functional and
geographical organisation model. At the same time, the project organisation model
appears on lower organisational level, especially in shared departments dealing with
shipbuilding and ship repairing. In addition to the main business, which is carried in
Croatia, our company has the obligation to support investment projects in foreign
countries, mainly Germany, through our subsidiary company.
It is evident from the information provided above that our company is performing its
activities in different locations, and this requires the forming a task team depending on the
demands of the project. For this reasons our workforce can be transferred from one
company to another company within our group, depending on the demands of the project.
To a somewhat smaller extent, this also occurs in our domestic production. Basically,
whenever a new project (ship) is started we set up the appropriate team in charge of
realisation of the project. In case special services (welders, assemblers etc.) need to be
provided for our customers, a similar situation of manpower transfer occurs.

Management

Management structure
