Research Paradigm of the study

The research paradigm shows the independent and dependent variable

framework. These variables were gathered through an extensive review of related

literature by the researcher. The independent variables include demographic profile of

the respondents (i.e., age, sex, programs, parents income, house arrangement, source

of allowance, weekly allowance, weekly expenses, savings in their allowance, Are you

an academic scholar, expenses and saving amidst pandemic) and financial literacy (i.e.,

financial well-being, financial attitude, financial behavior, financial knowledge, financial

ability and financial influences). To determine the extent to which the dependent

variables depend on the independent variables, data collection was done through

conducting surveys.

Google Form Survey questionnaires were distributed online to the HEI selected

students of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Lucena City and the

respondents were expected to answer the questionnaire based on their experience

about financial literacy in the amidst of Covid19 pandemic. The data collected were

processed to easily analyze the information. The results are drawn from the study lead

to the creation of an intervention program for these selected students. This will provide

assistance to the students and even to other parents to improve their knowledge in

handling their money.
