Transfer Credit Review Request Procedure/Form

Please follow the steps in this form to request a Wilmington University Graduate College of Technology
transfer credit review for completed courses taken at U.S. accredited, graduate schools.

Step 1. Review the Graduate Transfer Credit Policy


at http://www.wilmu.edu/academics/transfercredit.aspx

Step 2. Check Wilmington University’s Credit Transfer Tool to see if the one or more of your courses has
already been evaluated
a. Tool link http://www.wilmu.edu/transfer/collegetransfer.aspx
b. Search by school or course information
c. If a course appears in the Credit Transfer Tool, go to Step 3. If a course does not appear in the
credit transfer tool, go to Step 7.

Step 3. Answer the question below

Step 4. Complete the following form (up to two courses or six (6) credits may be transferred):

Step 5. DO NOT register for any courses you think may be transferable

Step 6. Submit this complete form in your supplemental documents in your WilmU Applications portal.

Step 7. For courses NOT appearing in Wilmington University’s credit transfer tool, you must:
a. Obtain a syllabus for each course containing (a) the course description; (b) the course title; (c)
the course number; (d) the instructor’s name; (e) the course learning goals and/or objectives;
and (f) the name of the textbook AND;
b. Ensure an official transcript from an accredited graduate college or university has been
received by and is on file at Wilmington University.
i. Electronic transcripts can be sent directly from the school of attendance as an official
document that is encrypted with a username and password
to gradamissions@wilmu.edu or a hardcopy can be mailed, in a sealed envelope, to:
