I HAVE A DREAM – MARTIN LUTHER KING, 1963

I have a dream speech by Martin Luther King was delivered on Aug 28, during the March on
Washington. His speech is about a call for equality and freedom that became one of the defining moments
of the civil right movement in America. The purpose of King’s speech is to get the black people their
rights of freedom, equality, and justice avoiding racial injustice based on the color of the skin. I realized
that in America, black people are always an exception in terms of fair justice. They treat black people as
their enemy and throw hate on them because of their color. King envisioned a world where his children
would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. He changed the lives
of all African Americans in his time. He wanted all people have the same opportunities and wanted
justice for all.
