Additive Oscillator
Additive Mix View Switch: Switches the GUI view of the additive harmonics between harmonics 1-8 and 9-16.
Additive Oct: Offsets the base incoming MIDI frequency of the additive oscillator in octave intervals.

Additive Harmonics 1-16

Volume Fader: Determines the base volume of each harmonic.
Frequency Multiplier: Sets the frequency multiplier from the base incoming frequency for each harmonic. A series of
whole numbers (1-16) constitutes a harmonic series. With decimal values intricate inharmonic content can be intro-
duced.
Pan Knob: Determines the stereo panning of each harmonic.
Volume Modulator Select: Selects the modulation source for each harmonic between modulators 1-4.
Modulation: Determines the depth of volume modulation applied to each harmonic by the selected modulator.

BPM: When in free mode the control and rate is determined by frequency in hertz.
Rt: When turned on, retriggers the LFO cycle from zero phase with each new MIDI note.

Random/Reset
Random: Randomizes the values of the additive section controls based on the maximum value set with the range
parameter. The randomization is either completely free, or it can be mildly scaled by the scale button. Only values for
the parameter group that has been enabled will be randomized.
Reset: Resets the additive section’s controls to default values. Only values for the parameter group that has been
enabled will be reset.
Scale: Applies scaling to the randomization of the additive section controls when the random button is triggered. The
scaling is purposely not perfect, allowing for slight variations.
Range: The maximum range used for the randomization of the additive section controls when the random button is
triggered.
Vol: Selects whether the additive volume controls will be enabled for randomization and resetting or not.
Freq: Selects whether the additive frequency multipliers will be enabled for randomization and resetting or not.
01
Random/Reset

Subtractive Oscillators
Wave Knob: Selects the wave shape to be used by subtractive osc A from the 100 choices provided
in the wavetable.

Loaded wavetables save with presets and projects as long as the files are kept in Appdata\Roaming\-
Ocean Swift\Polyphenom 2\Wavetables\ , copy wavetable files that you would like to use with the synth
into that folder. The wavetable expects cycle sizes of 2048 samples in 44100 sample rate and will slice
the table to 100 cycles to be scrolled through by the wave select knob.

Oct: Offsets the pitch of the oscillator from the incoming MIDI note in octave intervals.
Semi: Offsets the pitch of the oscillator from the incoming MIDI note in semitone intervals.

lators with each other.
Noise: Crossfades the final subtractive output from the ring modulator with a filtered noise source.
